Sedation

Sedation can be used in dental procedures to provide the patient with a relaxing, anxiety-free experience.  The patient remains conscious throughout the procedure but in a relaxed state.  This means that the patient will not experience any apprehension or discomfort during the dental treatment.  With conscious sedation, fasting is not required and the patient can return home shortly after the procedure as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult to assist them.

We work with a team of Consultant Anaesthetists who are specially trained and very experienced at providing conscious sedation in a dental setting.
