Covid 19 Update

COVID-19 UPDATE – June 8, 2022

Our Covid-19 guidance and requirements have changed and now fall more in line with the current lack of public restrictions. There are a few restrictions that remain, the primary one being that we continue to triage our patients before they attend for their appointment.

The patient entrance door is now open for you enter the practice. HOWEVER, please do not attend the practice or enter the waiting area if you have any symptoms of Covid or other infectious respiratory illnesses or viruses. If you have symptoms which are not typical for you, please ring our reception team for further guidance and/or to rebook your appointment. The government guidance lists the following as symptoms of concern:

Symptoms of COVID-19, flu and common respiratory infections include:

  • continuous cough
  • high temperature, fever or chills
  • loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
  • shortness of breath
  • unexplained tiredness, lack of energy
  • muscle aches or pains that are not due to exercise
  • not wanting to eat or not feeling hungry
  • headache that is unusual or longer lasting than usual
  • sore throat, stuffy or runny nose
  • diarrhoea, feeling sick or being sick

As long as you have no symptoms as detailed above, please feel free to enter the practice to await your appointment. We ask that you still continue to use the hand disinfectant which is available at the entrance door into the waiting area. Please speak with a member of our reception team who will let the clinician know that you have arrived for your appointment.

Patients and visitors who do not have any symptoms of a respiratory illness or virus are no longer required to wear a mask in the practice. However, if it is your personal preference to do so please feel free to continue wearing a mask.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s smile again!
